The vertical slice through the layers of a palimpsest resembles the interactions of ‘lines of sound’ in a composition and thus a compositional ‘score’—here temporarily unfolded, embedded into media fragments that form the symbols for the contemporary spectacle.

An important aspect of my compositional work in interdisciplinary structures is engaging in contemporary architectures of value. A deep passion of mine is to collaborate with filmmakers, storytellers, and media thinkers across countries and cultures, working both within established—narrative, symbolic, cultural—structures which provide an access point to the modern spectator as well as without, asking questions of the forms within which our emotions and humanity are held, believing strongly in providing a spectator with their own sense of agency within the spectacle.
